SLV Restaurant
Lodged on a corner site of sq.ft, this project was the culmination of a contemporary fine-dine restaurant. Flanked by busy main roads on the south and west sides, SLA Bagalor Restaurant is situated at a prime location, with easy access to passers-by. The nearby public transport further magnifies the ease of access, enhancing a satisfying experience.
The exterior is a fascinating assemblage of enticing elements and materials. It expresses the vision of a luxurious dining experience. Rigid elements of glass and steel forge into a double-height roof that fabricates a unique statement in the exterior. Exposed bricks used in some of the walls and counters brings about a touch of the vernacular essence in the modern setting.
Once inside, the inviting colour palette sets an appealing aura. The energetic mood is enhanced by stylish lights. The design attempts to generate an exquisite culinary experience for both vegetarian dining and non-vegetarian dining by providing separate seating for the two. The glass wall creates a sense of transparency while defining a threshold between the indoor and outdoor seating areas. This allows for maximum visual connection, imposing an engaging design.
The various spaces are planned with the circulation of users in mind, such that there is a flow of continuity and the convenience of accessibility. The entrance opens into a large indoor dining area on one side and the billing counter on the other. The chaat counter is conveniently located near the billing counter, with the kitchen placed along the edge of the east wall. The washrooms are secluded in the opposite corner, maintaining privacy. The upper floor houses another set of sumptuous seating with a view of the surroundings through transparent, glass walls.
